Sarah Hyland's would-be wedding day celebrations
No virus was going to stop Sarah Hyland from celebrating her love, Wells Adams, despite having to cancel their wedding. During her Ellen appearance, the actress opened up about she spent the day.
"We were going to get married 8/8/2020 — not happening! Not happening anymore, what can you do?" she said to Ellen DeGeneres.
Hyland then shared that their would-be wedding date was the perfect opportunity to leave the house. Their first stop after hunkering down for months was at a local winery, where they celebrated in style!
"We went with all our friends, all of us got tested, our family, the best man, maid of honour. I bought a white dress and a veil I got on Etsy," she said.
"My bridesmaids got me a real wedding bouquet and surprised me and we took fake wedding pictures for fun," she revealed.
Later on in the show, Hyland also revealed she has had two kidney transplants and surprises her two besties to talk about their good deeds. watch the clip below!
