Oscar winner Sandra Bullock (60) has addressed a troubling issue: scammers impersonating her on social media. In a statement to 'People,' Bullock emphasized:
"My family's safety, as well as the innocent people being taken advantage of, is my deep concern, and there will be a time when I will comment more, but for now, our focus is helping law enforcement handle this matter."
Bullock made it clear that she does not use social media, and any accounts claiming to be her or someone close to her are fake.

Sandra Bullock's Sister Gesine reveals fake account details
Sandra Bullock’s younger sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, has also spoken out about the problem. She reports dealing with fake accounts on Facebook every day.
"I spend multiple times a day reporting fakes, dealing with weird & scary emails to my BUSINESS and HOME from men who believe that, through one of these many fake 'me’s,’" Gesine writes on her official account.
She adds that these accounts are operated by criminal gangs, who also run fake groups that post "official declarations."
Gesine urges fans to report fake accounts and remain cautious. Sandra Bullock is not the only celebrity affected by such fraud.
A particularly frightening example of this type of scam is the case of a French woman who lost $850,000 to scammers posing as Brad Pitt.
