Naya Rivera's ex-husband and father of her son Josey Hollis, Ryan Dorsey has finally come forward and publicly spoken about the devastating loss.
Ryan Dorsey Speaks About Loss of Ex-Wife Naya Rivera
Glee star Naya Rivera's sudden and tragic drowning has devastated so many lives. Her huge and loving family and co-stars that were lucky enough to have worked with and been loved by her have been letting out their pain and anguish. Now her ex-husband and father of their son, sweet Josey, is speaking out.
Ryan Dorsey has been in clear pain now that he is a single father to their momma's boy Josey. He was even spotted at the lake Naya drowned in sobbing and looking for her. Now Ryan took to Instagram to express himself and what he is feeling.
"This is so unfair...there's not enough words to express the hole left in everyone's hearts. I can't believe this is life now. I don't know if I'll ever believe it. You were just here... We were just in the back swimming with Josey the day before. Life just isn't fair. I don't know what to say." Ryan has had to be strong for their son who was the last to see his mother when she used her last bit of energy to save his life before he saw her slip under the water.
Ryan continued with "I'm thankful for our times and our journey that gave us the sweetest and kindest smart little boy we could ever hope for." He spoke about how grateful he is that he has so much footage of her with their son. He ended his post with a message to everyone "be kind to yourself, be kind to others, forgive...forget...don't hold grudges.... Time on Earth is precious and you just never know....you never know what could happen. Hold your loved ones close, and cherish the times you have with those you care about."
Naya Rivera's Sister Speaks Out Too
Naya's sister Nickayla posted shortly after Ryan did saying "There are no words to describe my love for you. Side by side or miles apart, our connection is infinite. Our bond is unbreakable," and that now her "world is turned upside down." Her loss was palpable through her words "My shmaya, I’ll love you for eternity & miss you every second of my life."
Naya has left an incredible legacy and will always be loved by those whose lives she touched.
