- Russell Brand is a controversial actor
- He has been questioned by police
- THIS is the reason the cops paid a visit
The entertainment world is reeling as Russell Brand, the notoriously outspoken comedian and actor, finds himself in the hot seat! London's Metropolitan Police have turned up the heat, questioning Brand over allegations that could tarnish his career forever. 'The Times' has dropped the bombshell report, and fans are clamoring for the juicy details.
Russell could be facing some serious penalties
Brand, known for his razor-sharp wit and controversial antics, is facing a media frenzy after the 'Sunday Times' and Channel 4's "Dispatches" exposed accusations from four women alleging sexual assaults, including a rape, between 2006 and 2013. The allegations are as historical as they are scandalous, and the police are digging deep into the past.
Brand was accused in September of rape and sexual assaults by four women before several more came forward to accuse him of similar offences. Scotland Yard have now said a man in his forties, understood to be Brand, attended a police station in south London on Thursday.
'The Sun' reported on Sunday the man questioned was Brand, and said that while he was at the police station he was questioned "over three sexual offences" said to be "non-recent".
The comedian has fiercely rejected these "very serious allegations," taking to social media to proclaim his innocence. "I have never had non-consensual sex," Brand stated, setting the record straight in his eyes. But with no immediate comeback from his reps on the latest twist, the plot thickens.
It's unclear where the investigations will go. But there are bound to be news confirming or denying the allegations very soon. His publishing house and literary agent Tavistock Wood have also began to turn their backs already, even despite his bestselling books.
"Russell Brand categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him. Tavistock Wood has terminated all professional ties to Brand," the company said in a written release.

Known for his unbridled and risky standup routines, Brand hosted shows on radio and television, wrote memoirs charting his battles with drugs and alcohol, appeared in several Hollywood movies and was briefly married to pop star Katy Perry between 2010 and 2012.
In recent years, Brand has largely disappeared from mainstream media but has built up a large following online with videos mixing wellness and conspiracy theories.
Stay tuned as we follow this story where fame, scandal, and mystery collide. Will Russell Brand clear his name, or is this the beginning of a fall from grace? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure – this story is too hot to handle!
