Celebrity chef Rachael Ray confirms that she, her husband, and their dog are okay following the fire that set ablaze her Lake Luzerne New York home.
While feeling a bit shaken from the fire, no one was harmed, and the cook revealed they don't know yet just how much damage was caused to the house.
Rachael Ray okay, but saddened following fire
Rachael Ray's Lake Luzerne home in New York was set ablaze over the weekend, but both Ray and her husband, John Cusimano were not harmed during the fire.
According to the celebrity chef's representative, the house was damaged, although they are not yet sure just how much damage was done.
There are no reported injuries, but firefighters were called to the home Sunday afternoon where they battled the fire.
Journalist Mark Mulholland shared with Twitter photos of the fire, showing the situation was dire, as flames are shown engulfing the roof of the home.
The Rachael Ray Show is on a summer hiatus at the moment, but that didn't stop fans from reaching out to the cook to make sure she is alright.
"Thank you to our local first responders for being kind and gracious and saving what they could of our home," she wrote on Twitter. "Grateful that my mom, my husband, my dog… we’re all okay. These are the days we all have to be grateful for what we have, not what we’ve lost."
