Antoni Porowski has some four-legged company while self-isolating! The Queer Eye star is currently in Texas, where season 6 of the hit Netflix show began filming before production was halted in the midst of coronavirus concerns. However, Porowski has been finding ways to keep busy and give back! Last week he started up a quarantine cooking show on Instagram, and he's even fostered a dog from shelter Austin Pets Alive!

Porowski talks about the importance of fostering a pup
In a clip that the shelter shared on social media, Porowski can be seen giving a pit beagle puppy some love as he talks about the situation. "Hi guys. So I’m at Austin Pets Alive! and I’m here fostering little baby Neon," Porowski shares in the short video. "It’s very important for us to support our local shelters because they’re getting a lot less foot traffic. If you can’t commit to adopting, I would encourage fostering as well".

He goes on to talk about how even if people are able to take in a dog for a short period of time, they'll still be making a difference in the animal's life. Porowski says that doing so will "give them the nice quality of life they deserve — because they’re pups and they love unconditionally". Austin Pets Alive! mentioned in their post how they felt lucky "to have this temporary Austinite Antoni Porowski fostering Neon to help us during this time!", and encouraged anyone who would "like to be fab" to check out the shelter's website.
Kyle Chandler ends up adopting shelter dog with his wife
Porowski wasn't the only celebrity to pay Austin Pets Alive! a visit! A few days after the shelter posted about Porowski fostering Neon, they shared that Kyle Chandler and his wife had also stopped by with the intention of fostering a dog. According to their Instagram post though, "little Clive stole their hearts and they decided to adopt instead!" The post, which features a photo of Chandler and his wife Kathryn smiling as Kathryn holds their new furry family member also makes mention of the fact that the Chandler family have adopted from Austin Pets Alive! before.
