Piers Morgan Criticizes Meghan Markle Again — 3 Weeks After Oprah Interview

Piers Morgan still won't back down from his controversial doubt of Meghan Markle now several weeks after her interview with Oprah Winfrey. In a lengthy new piece, Morgan wrote on the aftermath of the interview and his exit from Good Morning Britain. Though he says his real beef is with "cancel culture," he still took a few shots at the Duchess and insisted that "the actual truth, as opposed to Meghan's 'truth,' is finally emerging."

Piers Morgan is still not walking back his doubt of Meghan Markle in her interview with Oprah Winfrey. To the contrary, he's continuing to criticize her and is calling her names like "delusional Duchess" in a new column he wrote this weekend.

On Saturday, Morgan returned to his Daily Mail column for the first time in nearly three weeks. He gave a breakdown of his thoughts dating back to the Oprah interview, then his Good Morning Britain rant and exit, and eventually Sharon Osbourne's departure from The Talk after she defended him against racism accusations.

Through it all, Morgan targeted "cancel culture" as the object of his wrath, though he insists he himself hasn't been cancelled. But Morgan couldn't help but take a few shots at Duchess Meghan, as he feels his doubt of her has only been validated in the aftermath of the interview.

To support his case, Morgan highlighted Meghan's telling Oprah of a "secret" marriage to Prince Harry days before their royal wedding, a story that has since been debunked and clarified. Morgan wrote, "It would seem the actual truth, as opposed to Meghan's 'truth', is finally emerging. Do I still have to believe her?"

Piers Morgan's new comments on Duchess Meghan

After raging about Sharon Osbourne's exit from The Talk, Morgan made the point that what happened to him and Osbourne "isn't really about Ms. Markle." But he couldn't help but add:

"[Meghan is] just one of many whiny, privileged, hypocritical celebrities who now cynically exploit victimhood to suppress free speech, value their own version of the truth above the actual truth, and seek to cancel anyone that deviates from their woke world view or who dares to challenge the veracity of their inflammatory statements."

Morgan concluded his piece, "It's time to cancel the cancel culture before it kills our culture." It's now been three weeks since Oprah with Meghan and Harry aired, which was followed by Morgan's controversial rant about not believing "a word" Meghan said, despite her discussion of mental health struggles and experiences with racism while with the Royal Family. He was heavily criticized and quit GMB after he was confronted about the remarks the next day.
