Pauley Perrette is sadly one of the millions of people to lose a loved one to COVID-19.

The 52-year-old star lost her father Paul to the coronavirus early this year. Now, she's using her platform to send a passionate message to the anti-vaxx crowd.

Pauley Perrette's message to COVID anti-vaxxers

This week, the former NCIS actress took to Twitter to share her message. She wrote: "Don't believe in #CovidVaccine... VISIT MY DADDYS grave!!!"

Perrette then described her father as: "A #republican who begged me to TELL YOU THAT THIS IS REAL from his deathbed!"

She continued: "We are imprisoned by YOU NOT GETTING #VaxxedAndMasked #vaccinated. YOURE THE PROBLEM! SCARED OF A little SHOT! #CovidIsNotOver."

With the message, Perrette included a bittersweet photo of herself with her father in happier times.

Paul Perrette died in Alabama on Jan. 20, 2021, at the age of 85. It's unclear if he had received any vaccine for the coronavirus, but his daughter's post seems to suggest he was unvaccinated and may have been skeptical of the pandemic.

Pauley Perrette, who is now retired from acting, still has a devoted following from her days playing "Abby" on NCIS. And fans were devastated along with her as she chronicled her father's experience with COVID early this year.

Perrette also recently honoured her late father in a COVID-19 memorial project, where she wrote: "He was my world."
