Paul William Walker IV was born in California on September 12, 1973. After finishing school he began studying marine biology but then decided to become an actor.
He made his film debut in 1986 in the horror parody Monster in the Closet. In that same year, he also got a recurring role in the series Throb.

In 2001 Paul Walker got the role of "Brian O'Conner" in The Fast and the Furious. This would turn both Walker and fellow co-star Vin Diesel into worldwide stars.
