Kim Kardashian is getting some serious backlash for a statement she recently made! Earlier this week, Kim shared her advice for women who are wanting to get ahead in the business world with Variety, but not everyone agrees with her.
Kim's advice to women criticized because of privilege
Kim told the outlet the best thing for women to do is "get your f**king a** up and work," as well as "surround yourself with people that want to work." She also mentioned the importance of "a good work environment" as opposed to a "toxic" workplace situation. However, while Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian voiced her agreement, not everyone responded positively to her words.
Jameela Jamil took to Twitter to comment on Kim's stance on social media, telling the reality star that because of growing up privileged, "nobody needs to hear your thoughts on success/work ethic." Jamil wasn't the only celeb to speak out, with Broadway actress Patti Murin also coming forward. Murin tweeted that if she were financially able to create her own theatre project, she "would think this is excellent advice."

Several other celebs and the general public criticized her thoughts on working women, as the reality star was called "out of touch" with the world. However, one of Kim's friends, Tracy Romulus, tweeted about how "any successful woman in business will tell you that they’ve had to work so much smarter & harder than any man." Kim, who was declared legally single after divorcing Kanye West, has also shared that her intention for 2022 is to focus on herself.
