Tupac Shakur murder suspect pleads not guilty
According to 'ABC', Duane "Keffe D" Davis pleaded not guilty to orchestrating the 1996 drive-by murder of rapper Tupac Shakur at his arraignment on November 2nd. The arraignment had reportedly been delayed twice, as Davis sought to find legal representation.
At the arraignment, Davis said that he had not retained his own counsel and was appointed a public defender. 'ABC' reports that Davis is scheduled to make his next court appearance on November 7th.
In September, Davis was indicted by a Clark County grand jury on one count of murder with a deadly weapon with gang enhancement. The indictment comes nearly 30 years after Tupac's death.
