Olivia Newton-John, best-known for her role as "Sandy" in the movie Grease has passed away on August 8, 2022.
The movie star died at the age of 73
Through a statement on social media made by her husband, her death was reported. She died at her home in California. "We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time," the statement read.
Olivia Newton-John has had to fight cancer multiple times already.

Born on September 26, 1948, Olivia Newton-John also built an impressive music career, releasing more than 20 albums. One of her most recent appearances occurred in 2020 in the movie The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee.
