Yikes! A$AP Rocky is in some hot water after he was arrested at the L.A airport on Wednesday. The 33-year-old rapper was coming back from vacation in Barbados, the beautiful island country his girlfriend and future mother of his child, Rihanna, was born.
A$AP Rocky charged with assault
The rapper landed in Los Angeles on his private jet and was quickly met by police who detained the "L$D" singer for assault with a deadly weapon. Rocky's bail has been set to over half a million dollars.
It was alleged that Rocky shot a man after an argument in November of 2021, although the victim didn't sustain any major injuries.
The acquaintance of Rocky claimed that he was shot "3 or 4 times" before Rocky and two other males fled the scene.

According to ABC News, Rihanna was with Rocky at the time of the arrest, and a search warrant has already been executed for the rapper's home.
Rocky and Rihanna are expecting their first child together, and have been seen out and about a lot since announcing the pregnancy in January of this year.
The victim says that he was approached by A$AP Rocky when an argument broke out and he was shot, sustaining minor injuries. He believes that Rocky was the one to shoot the gun, which he believes grazed his hand.
A$AP Rocky is still detained, marking it the second time he will be tried for assault. In 2019, Rocky was arrested in Sweden after a fight broke out, but at the time, President Donald Trump fought for his release, threatening Sweden with "negative consequences" should they refuse.
He did not serve any jail time, however, and had to pay just over $1000 dollars in damages.
