According to her obtained death certificate as reported by 'The Blast', Somers succumbed to breast cancer that had metastasized to her brain.

The somber diagnosis on Somers' death certificate reads, "breast cancer with metastasis to the brain." However, an autopsy was not conducted. Additionally, hypertension and hydrocephalus played a role in her passing.
The beloved star of 'Jack of Hearts with Two Ladies' peacefully passed away at home after bravely battling cancer for a year. Just three days after her departure, Somers' close family, including her husband Alan Hamel and son Bruce Somers, marked her 77th birthday with heartfelt celebrations.
In a touching video shared on Suzanne's Instagram, the family expressed their gratitude: ""Thank you for the out-pouring of love and affection for Suzanne.
