Lauren Holly was born in Pennsylvania in 1963 and started her acting career when she was 20 years old. Her first appearance on screen was in two episodes of the serial police drama Hill Street Blues, and three years later she joined the cast of ABC's television soap opera All My Children where she played the role of "Julie Chandler" from 1986 to 1989.
