Karen Klein is a retired therapist who met Linda Hunt in the 1980s. They've been in a relationship since 1987, according to USA Today.
In a rare interview, Karen told CBS News that the first thing she noticed about Linda all those years ago was her fashion sense rather than her height (as Hunt stands just 4-foot-9).
"I was kind of struck [by] Linda's corduroys," she said, and that initial connection blossomed into a lifelong romance. They tied the knot in 2008 after 21 years together.
In 2014, the couple welcomed The Los Angeles Times into their historic Hollywood bungalow, which Hunt said has "whimsy and a special kind of elegance." They moved there after spending a few months in a Craftsman mansion in the same neighbourhood.
