Naya Rivera has disappeared under mysterious and scary circumstances spurring a desperate hunt by the Ventura County Sherriff's office for the single mother.

Naya Rivera, Glee star, has suddenly disappeared under very scary circumstances. Family, friends, and fans hope for the best, but the outlook is not good.

Glee Star Naya Rivera Missing From Lake

The Ventura County Sherriff's Department has informed the public that Naya Rivera, the actress who portrayed "Santana Lopez" on the smash hit show Glee, rented a boat at 1 pm on Wednesday. Naya went for a ride on large Lake Piru with her 4-year old son she shares with ex-husband Ryan Dorsey, Josey Hollis. 3 hours later, young Josey was found floating by himself in the boat wearing a life vest. A different boater found him alone and almost immediately after the Sherriff's department launched a search for the single mother.

The Sherriff's department used helicopters, drones, and dive teams searching for the actress but were forced to pause the search late that night and announced they would start back up at first light the next morning.

The devoted mother had posted a photo the day before of her with her sweet son captioned "just the two of us."

Fans have been sending her loving messages of hope saying "Please be okay." The 33-year-old has been a hard-working and loving single mother and shares custody of Josey with her ex-husband Ryan Dorsey.
