At the turn of the millennium, Milo got his first main TV role in the Fox series 'Opposite Sex'. Although the series only lasted for one season, his role in the comedy series was a good kickstart in the entertainment industry, where he even starred alongside 'Captain America's' Chris Evans!

Did you know Milo Ventimiglia and Brittany Snow both starred in this NBC series? Ventimiglia had a recurring role in drama television show 'American Dreams' as Snow's love interest. He played the bad boy "Chris" for twelve episodes of the show, which was set in 1960s Philadelphia.

Before the New York City excitement of 'Gossip Girl', there was the series 'The Bedford Diaries', which also starred Penn Badgley! Similarly to 'Opposite Sex', the show also only lasted for one season on The WB, but nonetheless was a fun series to watch for all the college drama and life in NYC!

Let's not forget that Milo has also starred in various films throughout his career, with one of his most notable as Sylvester Stallone's son, "Rocky Jr.", in the Rocky film series. He appeared in both Rocky Balboa (2006) and Creed II (2018). Just like Stallone, Milo also has a self-described crooked mouth due to dead nerves in his lower lip.

He recalled to People in 2017 on those who criticized his mouth: "'Hey, I was born that way.' [...] It’s who I am, you know? I’ve got a crooked mouth.”

We'll never forget Milo Ventimiglia portraying "Jess Mariano" in the famed series Gilmore Girls. In the show, he's the nephew of "Luke" (Scott Patterson) and eventual love interest of "Rory" (Alexis Bledel), who's caught in a love triangle between him and "Dean" (Jared Padalecki). Phew! Always a great show, and of course, we still wonder if he never truly got over "Rory"!

One of Milo's most known television roles was as "Peter Petrelli" on NBC's Heroes. Milo starred on the series from 2006-2010, and even dated co-star Hayden Panettiere! The hit show was about ordinary people who discover they have superpowers. Ventimiglia was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Television Supporting Actor, and won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Action or Adventure TV Actor.

Milo starred opposite Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens and Leah Remini in the 2018 rom-com Second Act. In it, he plays "Trey", the boyfriend of Lopez... which is already amazing in itself. If you're a fan of Maid in Manhattan, we highly recommend this romantic comedy!

In one of Milo's more recent TV productions, he stars in the NBC series This Is Us, along with Mandy Moore. The show has been a massive success, where he's been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Additionally, Milo has won two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast in a Drama Series! The series started back in 2016, and ended in 2022.

2019's 'The Art of Racing in the Rain', which also stars Amanda Seyfried and Kevin Costner is one for the books. The comedy-drama film includes the golden retriever Enzo (Costner) and his owner "Danny" (Ventimiglia) who embark on a life adventure of race car driving mixed with tragic moments of life.
