It comes as no secret that both Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus have a wicked set of pipes, and the two ladies are teaming up together to create the ultimate Christmas collab!

While appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Cyrus revealed that she and her Godmother have been working hard on new music, before going on to tease Parton about her outdated form of communication.

Dolly Parton's old school way of communication

Miley Cyrus's Godmother and musician pal Dolly Parton are teaming up once again to work on a highly anticipated Christmas album! While appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Cyrus revealed how the two came into contact.

"So Dolly Parton, she called you?" Norton asked his guest.

"She faxed me," laughed Cyrus, before admitting that she doesn't own a fax machine.

"She gets upset when you don't respond," she said of her 74-year-old Godmother. "And it's like, I'm sorry, I don't even know. Half the people watching your show might not even know what a fax machine is."

Cyrus also added that her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, owns two Blackberries from 2005, saying that he tells her "two Blackberries equals one iPhone."

As for the record, Cyrus says she was more than happy doing it with Parton, despite the fact it was in July their conversation took place.

"Dolly reached out about doing a Christmas record with her and only for Dolly Parton do you sing a Christmas carol in July," she said. "But she makes physical records and so she had to get it turned in. I was singing about Christmas in the middle of L.A. summer, and only for Dolly."
