Miley Cyrus talk about why she is done going on tour

In her TikToks for "Used to Be Young", the pop star goes into more detail about why she made this decision.

"There's a certain need [on tour] to show off the ego and play a role in that, and I feel like that gets overused on tour, and once that switch is flipped, it's hard to get it back again," Miley Cyrus explains. For her, this switch is the "most difficult switch to turn off".

Moreover, she does not find the constant attention healthy. It would "erase her humanity and her connection". "But I can't be a songwriter without my humanity and my connection to others, and that's the most important thing to me," she continues.
