Melissa Gilbert has shared big news with her fans...
She's becoming a grandmother again! On Sunday, the 57-year-old actress revealed on Instagram that her son is expecting a baby girl with his wife. She's due "any day now," Gilbert wrote.

This is Melissa's eldest son Dakota Brinkman and his wife Marissa. They were married in 2018 and now have a daughter on the way. "Any day now," Melissa Gilbert captioned the sweet photo.
Gilbert added several hashtags including phrases "so excited," "can't wait" and "can't sleep," along with "grandmother" and "granddaughter is coming."
In the comments, fans also chimed in with hopes that Gilbert's son will name his daughter "Laura" after her Little House on the Prairie character.

And how time does fly. Gilbert, best known as a child star on Little House in the 1970s, is now a grandmother and in her late 50s.
She has two sons of her own and is stepmother to three stepchildren in her current marriage to Timothy Busfield.
Gilbert's son Dakota is the currently expecting father. He was born in Gilbert's first marriage to Bo Brinkman.
She also recently became a grandmother to a baby girl and shared a photo of another of her sons with his newborn daughter early last year.
