Megan Thee Stallion then shared her relief that none of her internal organs or crucial body parts had been impacted. "Thank God that the bullets didn’t touch bones," she said. "They didn't break tendons."

Y’all take your whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a diary, and that’s not me."
"I wasn't taking enough time for myself," the rapper— whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete— tearfully continued. "I thought I was ready to give good energy to other people, but people weren't ready to give good energy to me. I definitely had to sit my a— down and pray on it, and I do feel a lot better."
Megan Thee Stallion fires back at people joking about her getting shot
Megan Thee Stallion then turned her attention to those making jokes about the shooting. "I ain’t never seen so many men chime in something that wasn't their motherf------ business," she said. "What if your motherf------ sister got shot? What if your motherf------ girlfriend got shot?"
"What if you motherf------ best friend got shot?" the rapper asked. "Would you be cracking jokes then? "It's just a respect thing. Shut the f— up when s— don't have nothing to do with you." She then told fans that she's "alive and well, and strong as f—."
"I'm ready to get back to my own hot girl s—," she shared at the end of the stream. As People mentions, Megan Thee Stallion first mentioned the incident when she posted about it on Instagram on July 15, in order to "set the record straight."
