Megan Fox (35) is turning her personal pain into poetry. In her new book, 'Pretty Boys are Poisonous', the 'Transformers' star opens up about her heartbreak, including a devastating miscarriage she suffered with boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly (31).

Wild journey together and apart

In a candid interview with 'Good Morning America', Fox revealed the emotional turmoil she and Kelly experienced following their miscarriage. "It sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, trying to navigate, 'What does this mean? Why did this happen?'" she said.

Fox, a mother of three from her previous marriage to Brian Austin Green, also shared that Kelly, real name Colson Baker, was the one who encouraged her to pen her book.

In her poetry collection, Fox doesn't shy away from discussing the abuse she's endured in high-profile relationships. "I have been in at least one physically abusive relationship and several psychologically very abusive relationships," she confessed.

Fox and Kelly, who have been in an on-again-off-again relationship since 2020, announced their engagement in January 2022. Despite hitting some bumps along the way, a source tells ET that the couple is committed to making it to the altar.

True love, twin flame

Fox hinted that some of the poems in her book are about her relationship with Kelly. The poem she's most proud of, "To Marry an Arsonist," clearly references their fiery love. "True love, twin flame, trusted friend, naïve girl," she writes. "So many secrets hiding behind your scorched-earth temper."

By sharing her pain, Fox hopes to empower other women to use their voices. "Because it gives an elegant place for your pain to live, to put it into art makes it useful to other people," she said. "So you don't just suffer with it on your own."
