Christopher Beau Landon was born in 1975 to Michael and Lynn Noe as the youngest of four siblings. His biological siblings are Leslie Landon actress Jennifer Landon and actor Michael Landon Jr.. His parents divorced in 1980 when he was four years old and he lived with his father until he was sixteen, when Michael Landon passed away from pancreatic cancer.
Christopher Landon followed in his father's footsteps
After high school, Christopher Landon attended Loyola Marymount University to study screenwriting - he dropped out after three years into the course and started working as a screenwriter.
His first official credit was the 1998 movie Another Day in Paradise. Ever since, he's penned a total of 15 movie scripts, the most notable being the 2007 thriller Disturbia as well as the entire Paranormal Activity movie series.

He's also been working as a director and his most recent project is the 2019 horror movie Happy Deathday 2U. He is currently busy filming an untitled thriller, which he also wrote, that stars Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton.

Christopher Landon came out as gay in the late nineties and most of his movies also deal with gay themes and issues. He and his husband Cody Morris live in Los Angeles and the couple have a beautiful son named Beau.
