- Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have stepped out
- He was there for her movie premiere
- The couple is happy despite scandals surrounding him
The pair, who have been the talk of the town since they started dating in May 2023, dazzled fans and paparazzi alike at the New York City premiere of Good's latest blockbuster, 'Divorce in the Black,' on July 8, 2024.
Fashion Forward or Fashion Faux Pas?
Good turned heads in a daring baby blue gown that left little to the imagination, flaunting her midriff with a halter neck that criss-crossed over her bust, revealing her abs and a hint of her underwear through the dress' see-through fabric.
Paired with nude strappy heels, a vibrant blue clutch, oversized bangles, and statement earrings, Good was the epitome of bold and beautiful. Meanwhile, Majors kept it cool and casual in a black cardigan, trousers, and a pinstripe button-down, proving that sometimes, less is indeed more.
Despite Majors' recent legal troubles, including a domestic violence case that saw him parting ways with Marvel Studios, the couple's love has seemingly weathered the storm. Majors, who was sentenced to a one-year domestic violence treatment program, has found a steadfast supporter in Good.
During his heartfelt acceptance speech at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, Majors didn't shy away from expressing his love, stating, "Meagan, I love you with all my strength, with all my heart, I love you."
The premiere was just the beginning of the night's festivities for the couple, who were spotted tearing up the dance floor at the after-party. Majors' enthusiastic moves even drew a small crowd, but it was their hand-in-hand exit that had everyone talking.
Good, who split from her husband DeVon Franklin in 2021, has found solace and happiness in her relationship with Majors. "I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time," she revealed to 'PEOPLE', a sentiment echoed by Majors in his public declarations of love.
During the after party, the couple remained close and in good spirits, hitting the dance floor. At one point, Majors drew a small crowd with his enthusiastic dance moves. The couple later left the venue holding hands.
She started dating Majors less than a year later while he was embroiled in legal troubles. In March 2023, the actor was arrested for an alleged domestic dispute and subsequently charged with assault and harassment several days later.
During that summer, Majors made in-person court appearances for the domestic violence case alongside Good. In December, Majors was found guilty of misdemeanor assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree and was dropped as "Kang" by Marvel Studios about an hour after the jury reached a verdict. In April, he was sentenced to a one-year domestic violence treatment program.
Majors — who recently booked his first acting gig since his assault conviction — expressed his admiration for Good during his Hollywood Unlocked acceptance speech in June. "Meagan, I love you with all my strength, with all my heart, I love you," he said.
