Actor Matthew Perry died at the age of 54 at his home on October 28, 2023
On November 3rd, the Matthew Perry Foundation was announced in a press release, 'Variety' reports. It is sponsored and run by the National Philanthropic Trust.
Helping others will become his legacy
"In the spirit of Matthew Perry’s enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction...we embark on a journey to honor his legacy by establishing the Matthew Perry Foundation, guided by his own words and experiences, and driven by his passion for making a difference in as many lives as possible," explained The Matthew Perry Foundation, via press release.
The Matthew Perry Foundation is currently accepting donations to help people struggling with addiction. The foundation also cited Perry's wish to be remembered above all else as someone who helped others battling addiction.

Perry, who was open about his own experience with addiction, turned his former home into a sober living facility that operated until 2015.
