In a cheeky promotional video, the McConaugheys are seen speeding off on motorcycles through an agave field, sporting aviator sunglasses and button-down shirts. The twist? They're not wearing any pants! The screen blurs below the belt, but the message is clear - this is a tequila that dares to be different.
Matthew muses, “When did tequila stop being tequila?” to which Camila replies, “Right? Where’s the fun?”
A Toast to Adventure
The McConaugheys, parents to three children, are seen toasting to their new adventure. The video cheekily shows them from behind, their pantsless bodies blurred out again. “Please do not keep yours on,” they both joke. “Pantalones Organic Tequila - the best thing we’ve made with our pants on,” they added in a joint statement.
The Pantalones Tequila portfolio includes three distinct bottles. The Blanco offers “notes of honey and citrus.” The Reposado, aged nine months, brings a fruitier, fresh oak edge, while the Añejo, aged 15 months, highlights flavors of vanilla, butterscotch, and maple.
Humor Runs in the Family
Matthew, known for his unique sense of humor, recently shared the source of his comedic flair. “My family — and part of Camila and I as well — we cherish the value of a sense of humor and comedy,” he said on the 'Whine Down with Jana Kramer' podcast.
Matthew and Camila's fun-loving approach to life and business is a testament to the McConaughey family ethos. As Matthew said on 'ET Canada', “My family is big on rites of passage and initiation, and you don’t get into the McConaughey family easily."
