Mary-Kate Olsen is officially divorcing her husband Pierre Olivier Sarkozy, according to new reports. A source has revealed to Entertainment Tonight that their breakup is "brutal," and according to TMZ, Olsen went to the extreme of filing an emergency order to petition for divorce.
Olsen had attempted to file for divorce on April 17, as Entertainment Tonight reports, but was told that due to the coronavirus, the courts would not be accepting non-emergency divorce filings. At this point though, things between the couple have escalated to the point of needing emergency intervention.

Olsen claims husband is trying to force her out of their own home
Olsen has claimed that Sarkozy is attempting to get her forced out of the New York City apartment the two currently share. According to Entertainment Tonight, Olsen allegedly states that Sarkozy's lawyers had contacted her attorneys this week, and gave her until May 18 to leave.
In addition, she says that not only is Sarkozy trying to actively get her removed from the building, but he also terminated the lease without informing her. Olsen has reportedly asked Sarkozy to give her until May 30, which would allow her nearly two weeks longer to leave.

The two were married in November of 2015, and as TMZ reports, Olsen has requested the enforcement of their prenuptial agreement.
