Tichina Arnold was born on June 28th, 1969, in Queens, New York to a humble and hard-working African American family. She landed a role in Frank Oz's musical Little Shop Of Horrors alongside Steve Martin at only 17 years old! Tichina has over 50 film and TV credits and countless roles in theater under her belt.

She really shot into the comedy world when she starred in Martin Lawrence's sitcom Martin as "Pam." The hilarious role secured Tichina's future in countless other comedies like The Jamie Foxx Show, The Norm Show, The Boondocks, Survivor's Remorse, The Eric Andre Show, Happily Divorced, and the smash-hit comedy Everybody Hates Chris. In Everybody Hates Chris she plays young Chris Rock's mother "Rochelle."

Tichina had an amazing daughter with music producer Calvin Haggins in 2004 named Alijah Kai. In 2012 she married successful basketball player and coach DaRico Hines in Hawaii but unfortunately due to infidelity and a leaked sex tape of Rico and one of his mistresses, the two divorced in 2016.
Today she is a main cast member in the hit show The Neighborhood alongside Cedric the Entertainer and New Girl's Max Greenfield. Tichina has been regularly posting a series following her teaching her daughter Alijah how to drive called "Driving (me crazy) Lesson" which is endless fun and educational! Tichina is also an incredible activist for matters that are truly important like Black Lives Matter.
