The gorgeous couple first met when Mark was auditioning to play Kelly Ripa's characters' love interest on the hit show All My Children and ever since then, the two have been inseparable. Their characters on the show dated and they dated secretly in real life. They married just a few months later on May 1st, 1996 in Las Vegas!
From On-Screen Romance To Real Life Love Story
Their characters in All My Children married too and the pair continued to work together on the show for 6 years until Kelly went to replace Kathie Lee Gifford on Live! With Regis and Kelly. Mark and Kelly had 3 children, Michael Joseph in 1997, Lola Grace in 2003 and Joaquin Antonio in 2007.

Kelly Ripa has had her incredibly successful daytime talk show continue on even after original member Regis Philbin's departure. She famously held auditions for the role of Regis' replacement ultimately having a great connection with Michael Strahan and then Ryan Seacrest after Strahan joined Good Morning America. Award-winning Live With Kelly and Ryan is one of the most viewed syndicated talk shows in America.
Mark has been on screen ever since his time on All My Children in countless films and shows like Missing, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, American Horror Story, and now Netflix' Riverdale.
