Mariah Carey isn't holding it back with the release of her memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey, and is bearing it all for her fans and readers!

While it is rumoured Eminem is a little nervous for the release of the book, Carey threw some subtle shade the rappers way, before launching into how she really felt appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2008.

Mariah Carey is giving us the tea!

Mariah Carey is making sure fans and readers of her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, will be privy to all the juicy details of the singer's life, both pre-fame and after fame!

In a new article for Vulture, Carey divulges some details of her rumoured romance with Eminem, and subtly shades the rapper.

The two were reported to have a fling in 2001, and rumours were only fueled when the rapper released the song "Lord Above" in 2019, in which he not only dissed Carey but her ex-husband Nick Cannon as well.

"All puns aside though / I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note," he raps, adding, "Tried to tell him this chick’s a nut job ‘fore he got his jewels clipped / Almost got my caboose kicked, fool, quit, you not gon’ do s--t / I let her chop my b--s off too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick."

When pressed by Vulture to comment on the song, Carey said, "There’s some songs that I can sing in response to that but I will not do it. If somebody or something didn’t pertain to the actual meaning of Mariah Carey, as is the title, then they aren’t in the book," she said.

Mariah talks her uncomfortable time on 'Ellen'

Along with her romance rumours, Carey also discusses her "uncomfortable" time on Ellen back in 2008, in which the host, Ellen DeGeneres, forced the R&B singer to talk about a pregnancy she wasn't ready to reveal yet.

"I was extremely uncomfortable with that moment, is all I can say. And I really have had a hard time grappling with the aftermath," Carey said, referencing the interview.

During the time, DeGeneres asked the singer if she was expecting, to which Carey denied these rumours.

"You don't have to tell me," DeGeneres said at the time, "Let's just do a toast of champagne and decide."

When Carey took a very tiny sip, DeGeneres exclaimed, "You're pregnant," to which Carey laughed it off, and tried to blame it on the fact it was before 3 pm.

What made matters worse, Carey was pregnant at the time and had a miscarriage a few weeks later.

Telling Vulture more of the experience, Carey said, "I wasn’t ready to tell anyone because I had had a miscarriage. I don’t want to throw anyone that’s already being thrown under any proverbial bus, but I didn’t enjoy that moment."

Carey also added there is "an empathy that can be applied to those moments that I would have liked to have been implemented. But what am I supposed to do?"

DeGeneres is under fire at the moment for allegations of a toxic workplace environment.

Mariah Carey's memoir will be available on September 29.
