Dancing expert Maksim Chmerkovskiy is providing us with yet another update from the frontlines of war. The 42-year-old former Dancing with the Stars dancer has decided to travel to his home country in order to help with the ongoing war effort, defending his land from the Russian invaders.

Maksim Has Stood Up To The Challenge Of War!
In his latest update, the dancer revealed that he was arrested at one point since his last update. He did not give any further information, however.
“Just a lot of fighting everywhere. The streets are crazy. At one point I got arrested but again all good, promise,” he told his followers. “That was probably the least traumatizing moment in this whole thing as far as Ukraine is concerned, but for me, it was just a reality check.”
His fans were quick to express their concern for his safety amidst the ongoing chaos. Although the news of resistance is fast becoming positive, the danger is still there for anyone present.
Maks assured everyone he will be alright: “I’m going to try and make my way out. I’m going to start making my way towards the border. I have options. Just a little nervous but I think it’s going to be alright. I know it’s going to be okay,” he added.
