Lizzo Sends Cardi B Flowers Following Divorce Announcement: "Know You Are Loved"

As news broke out that rappers Offset and Cardi B would be divorcing after three years of marriage, fellow musician Lizzo wanted her friend to know she's loved and cared for during this challenging time.

Everyone needs a friend like Lizzo! The musician made sure to send her friend some flowers with a sweet note attached to make sure she knows she is loved.

Cardi B and Offset announced this past week that after three years of marriage, they are calling it quits. Amid the divorce and public end, Lizzo is sending her care.

This past Tuesday, Lizzo sent Cardi some flowers, and the rapper shared on her Instagram Story the beautiful gift she received from her friend. Cardi B, amid her public divorce from Offset, is thanking Lizzo for her love.

"Omg, thank you [Lizzo]," Cardi wrote over top of the clip of the beautiful bouquet.

"Isn’t Lizzo like the nicest person in the world?" she said, walking around the bouquet adorned with yellow, orange, white and purple flowers.

"Look what she sent me, she is just a beautiful ass person, I just love her so much. These are so pretty," Cardi said.

Cardi also showed the handwritten note from the "Truth Hurts" singer, and read, "Flowers for a flower! Congrats on all your success this summer - know you are loved and are love."

The note comes after Cardi announced in her interview with Hot97 she and Lizzo were on good terms, and she even wanted to feature her in "WAP", but she was out of town, and couldn't make it.

Cardi B's relationship crumbles

Cardi B and Offset filed for divorce at the Atlanta courthouse after it was reported she learned he had been unfaithful again.

The rapper said their marriage is "irretrievably broken", and the two share a daughter, Kulture, 2, who is set to appear in court on November 4.

This isn't the first time Offset has been caught cheating. In 2018, the pair briefly split after it was confirmed he was in a sex tape with another woman.

"Offset has pretty much cheated the entire time [they were together]," a source close to the couple revealed to People. "But Cardi looked the other way because of the baby. She also didn't want to be embarrassed. But she's had enough."

In an interview with Cosmopolitan back in 2018, Cardi said, "I know I look good, I know I'm rich, I know I'm talented. I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player. But I want to work out my s— with my man, and I don't got to explain why."

The two have been on and off throughout their relationship, but Cardi has had enough this time.
