'Little House' actor was adored until his death
After he stole our hearts on 'Little House on the Prairie', Kevin later appeared in many other TV productions, such as 'M*A*S*H', 'A Gun for All Seasons' and 'Bonanza'.
In 2004, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. A year later he tragically lost the fight against the deadly disease.
Kevin Hagen was charming on and off camera
As "Doc Baker," Kevin Hagen quickly played his way into the hearts of 'Little House on the Prairie' fans. But he was also a hit with the ladies on the set, as Karen Grassle recalls in her memoirs.
She played "Caroline Ingalls" and knows: "He was something of a heartthrob."
Kevin Hagen was said to have had a special charisma. "As 'Doc', his gentle voice, smart face and bright blue eyes inspired confidence," Karen Grassle writes.
