Matthew Perry had left the message in a prop from the final 'Friends' episode in 2004. Kudrow, who portrayed Phoebe Buffay, discovered the note inside a cookie jar prop Perry had taken from the set. She shared: "Matthew gave that to me at the end of our last episode. I had recently found the note that he had in it for me. I hadn't opened it up or looked inside of it."
While Kudrow did not reveal the note's contents, she emphasized that "Timing is everything." This touching discovery highlights the deep friendship Kudrow and Perry shared during their time together on 'Friends.'
Perry, who played the witty "Chandler Bing," passed away in October 2023 at the age of 54.
