Liam Payne (31), known as a former member of the successful boy band One Direction, tragically passed away on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
The 31-year-old singer leaves behind not only an impressive music career but also his beloved son, Bear, whom he welcomed in March 2017 with singer Cheryl Cole.
Liam Payne spoke about being a father
Bear was born on March 22, 2017, when Liam was just 23 years old. The singer frequently shared his experiences as a young father and the joy Bear brought him. In an interview with 'People' in 2018, he said, "For me, I love making great music for my fans. But when you make something that your son loves, it's the best thing ever."
Liam explained the choice of name for his son during an appearance on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden', revealing that Bear made noises in his sleep as a newborn, prompting doctors to examine him. A doctor eventually told him, "There's nothing wrong with him. He just likes to make a lot of noise." That's how he came to name him Bear.
