Laura Ruth Harrier was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 28, 1990, and has a younger brother, William. She first became known for her role on the soap opera One Life to Live, where she played "Destiny Evans". In 2017, she had her breakout role as "Liz" in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
From there, Harrier went on to star in the Oscar-nominated 2018 film BlacKkKlansman. She plays "Patrice Dumas" in the satirical drama, which is based on a true crime story! 2020 was another big year for Harrier, since she starred in Hollywood on Netflix!
