It is very difficult to decide which of the characters portrayed by the fabulous Robert Fuller is our favorite. "Jess Harper" in the 1959 American Western television series Laramie, and "Vin" in the 1966 film Return of the Seven, are definitely two of his major roles on screen, but his acting career includes other successful projects like The Hard Ride, Emergency!, and Diagnosis Murder.

The last time we saw Robert Fuller on screen was in the action crime television series Walker, Texas Ranger, where he played "Wade Harper" from 1997 to 2001. He decided to retire from acting afterward. Why? It seems he had a very valid reason.

During the 1990's Robert Fuller said many times he didn't want to act anymore. It was in 2004 when he officially retired in order to spend more time with his wife Jennifer Savidge -better known for her role in NBC's St. Elsewhere- whom he wed in 2001. The actor claimed he also wanted to raise animals on a farm with her.

Despite the Western series star's retirement in the mid 2000's, he has been spotted at several western festivals across the United States, where he enjoys spending time with his long-time fans and telling them stories of his time in show business.
