It's 2007, and the Kardashian-Jenner's are appearing in season 1 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Most people only know Kim Kardashian as Paris Hilton's BFF, but all that is about to change!
Fast forward to 2020, and Kim is more famous than Paris, and the youngest, Kylie Jenner, is worth more than all of her other sisters combined. Thursday morning, momager and matriarch, Kris Jenner, reflected on how much has changed.
The Kardashian-Jenners are moving on
This week announced a massive change in pop culture, as after over 10 years, Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end. It's been 20 seasons of non-stop drama, and fans are mourning the loss, as is the family themselves.
Kris Jenner sat down with Ryan Seacrest during the morning show On Air with Ryan Seacrest, who also happens to be the reality show's executive producer.
"You’re going to make me cry all over again," she said to Seacrest. "It really hasn’t [hit me yet]. I got very, very emotional this morning."
Kris then revealed while with her daughters that morning, they all were still in shock that it's truly over.
"I woke up and was in the gym at 5 with Khloé [Kardashian] and Kim [Kardashian], and we just kind of sat there and looked at each other and said, 'Whoa, what a ride.'"
Kris opened up on their reasoning behind ending the show, saying they felt it was time to move on, and get more breathing room to do what they want individually.
"I think the number 20 used to sound good until 2020, but the number 20 just seemed like the right time I think for us to take a minute and breathe and everybody slow down a bit," she said. "Figure out what our next steps are."
The eldest daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, notoriously left the show last season, saying it wasn't her passion anymore, causing major drama between the sisters, but specifically with Kim.
"We’ve had such an amazing run and we’re so grateful for every single moment and everyone we work with," Kris concluded.
KUWTK first aired in October 2007, and since then the family has been skyrocketed? to superstardom.
