Kourtney Kardashian isn't afraid to live her honest truth and is opening up about the "toxic" work environment of the 20 season-long series that shot her to fame, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The reality star and mega-celebrity recently got engaged to her long-time friend and drummer for Blink-182, Travis Barker, who will appear in the new series on Hulu, The Kardashians.
"Shooting our show, it became a really toxic environment at the end for me," she tells the outlet about the previous show. "I would fight with my sisters. There was, like, just a lot going on. And even for me personally, I wasn’t in the happiest place."
But, since getting together with Travis, it seems she's in a much better place.

She noted that she didn't feel like her authentic self and that she was just playing someone else. "I felt like I was being almost a character. 'This is Kourtney, and she’s in a bad mood, so even though she was laughing really at lunch, we're going to cut out the laughing and let's only use the annoying comment that she said.'"
Kourtney admitted that the break between shows was a huge relief because it gave her a chance to reconnect with her sisters and get in a better place.
"When you're doing that [show] every single day, you don’t have the space to take a break and be like, 'Wait, we actually love each other,'" she said.
The new series will air on Hulu and Disney+ in April.
