Kardashian and West "couldn't figure out" their marriage
Kardashian's decision to divorce West "was still emotional" according to the source, who said that the reality star "spent the weekend taking care of herself and her kids." On Friday, it was announced that she had officially filed for divorce from West— a move that came after much speculation, with many sources saying "divorce was imminent" for the two.
"There is no drama between Kim and Kanye. Kim is mostly just disappointed that they couldn't figure out how to stay married," the source told People. "But it takes two people to create a happy marriage. Kim has felt Kanye is not willing to do the hard work and compromise."
Kardashian has been spending time with "supportive" family
Kardashian had struggled with her marriage to West for some time, with another source saying over the summer that she felt "stuck" in their relationship. And a few days before the reality star filed for divorce, an insider said that she was "stressed out" about her current situation.
The source also shared with People that over the past few days, Kardashian has been "spending time with her mom, sisters and hasn't been working." Her family is also said to be "supportive" of her decision, and she "feels very lucky" to have them around her as she handles things!
