Kevin Costner was a big winner at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. But he was sadly missing on awards night in January due to flooding around California.
As a result, the Yellowstone star was unable to collect his award for Best Actor in a TV Drama... until now!
Kevin Costner finally accepts his 2023 Golden Globe win
Kevin Costner just shared a video – from his home bedroom! – unboxing his Golden Globe Award. And it got surprisingly emotional.
Costner explained how disappointed he'd been to miss the original ceremony, but how his wife and kids rose to the occasion and made it a special night nonetheless.

"We watched the whole doggone thing and my kids heard our name be called," he said. "We wanted to be there, but we found ourselves together as a family."
Then came Costner's reveal of the award, his first Golden Globe win in a decade. "It feels really good to have this," he said. "There's no substitute for being there, but my wife made a night of it for us."

To conclude his unconventional award speech, Kevin Costner with emotion in his voice said: "For everybody who supported me, for the Hollywood Foreign Press for thinking enough of what I did this year.
"I'm so glad I found movies in my life. That made a difference. I don't know what would have happened to me if I hadn't done the movies. Thank you to everyone."
He won for his performance as "John Dutton" in the popular western series Yellowstone...
