Kelly Clarkson was moved to tears during Tuesday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show because of a touching moment that involved Jordin Sparks and her son! As Entertainment Tonight shares, Sparks was the featured guest on the show that day, and she sang a song just for her 2-year-old little boy.

Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks are both mothers as well as American Idol alumni! Clarkson was the show's first-ever winner back in 2002, while Sparks won season 6 in 2007. The two also have another thing in common— their love of singing to their children.
During her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Sparks sang "You Are My Sunshine" to her 2-year-old son, Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr.! Clarkson couldn't help but get emotional when Dana joined his mother in the song, visibly tearing up.
"I lost it. I was like, crying. That moment was so beautiful," Clarkson said after Sparks' emotional duet with her son. "I felt like me and my son, Remy. It was just so sweet. And his little voice!"
Clarkson going through divorce from Brandon Blackstock
Clarkson shares her two kids— 4-year-old Remington and 6-year-old daughter River Rose— with Brandon Blackstock. As Entertainment Tonight mentions, Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock in June. However, she thanked him in her speech after she won a Daytime Emmy for The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Blackstock is a producer on the show, so it makes sense that she would include him in the acknowledgments! While neither Clarkson nor Blackstock has discussed the divorce at length, a source did reveal some details about what led to the split.
