Kaley Cuoco was just a guest on Dax Shepard's podcast Armchair Expert and opened up about her post-breakup awkwardness on the set of The Big Bang Theory.
Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki Sex Scenes
Kaley Cuoco who played "Penny" on The Big Bang Theory admitted to Dax Shepard that "When we did the pilot, I was crushing so hard on Galecki but he had a girlfriend." Galecki played her character's counterpart, "Leonard" on the series and the two began to date "early on."
She explained, "We got together and just fell mad for each other for two years, but then we broke up. Luckily, Johnny and I came out of it so brilliantly and we're closer today than we ever were."
Then after the pair broke up Kaley got the impression that the series creator Chuck Lorre had intentionally added unnecessary scenes at their expense. The number of sex scenes between the characters skyrocketed!
"When we broke up obviously it was a little sensitive for a minute, but I remember those weeks that Chuck had written these episodes where all of a sudden our characters were like sleeping together every second!"
"Johnny and I talk about it and I think [Chuck] did that on purpose! Just to f*** with us! If I was with him, I would ask him because that came out of nowhere. All of a sudden these characters were all up on each other."
Both parties have since moved on, Kaley married Karl Cook two years ago and Johnny and his girlfriend of two years Alaina Meyer just had a son together last year.
