Justin Bieber took to Instagram to reveal he made a donation to Beijing Chunmiao Children Aid Foundation, in order to help the Asian country in battling the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.

"I just wanted to say I know it's a very scary time in the country right now but my prayers of support go out to you guys, you guys are amazing," said the "Love Yourself" singer.

The 25-year-old music star admitted he "couldn’t imagine how scary it would be if a new disease was effecting my wife and my family and friends," then he added: "Whether it be this or the fires of Australia we all need to be there for each other," he said.

As of today, more than 60,000 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed, mostly occurring in China - at least 1,380 people have died. In the United States there have been 13 confirmed cases.
