Jonathan Van Ness aka the grooming guru on Queer Eye just made history by covering Cosmopolitan UK's January 2020 issue! The television personality and professional hairdresser looked stunning in a Christian Siriano dress and became the first non-female cover star of the magazine in 35 years!

Jonathan Van Ness thanks Cosmopolitan UK for supporting the LGBTQ+ community

The last solo non-female star featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan UK was English singer Boy George, who appeared on the December 1984 cover. The British boy band One Direction appeared on the cover as a group in 2012. "Thanks for having me @CosmopolitanUK showing more variations of beauty for young LGBTQ+ people YAS QUEEN," tweeted Jonathan Van Ness.
