Unanimously, the jury determined Depp proved all elements of defamation. Heard must pay Depp a total of $15 million in damages. In her $100 million countersuit, Heard received just $2 million in damages from Depp.
Johnny Depp was not present for the announcement. A sombre Amber Heard was in the courthouse. No doubt, both sides of the explosive Depp-Heard trial will have strong reactions to the decision.
