- JLo and Ben Affleck are being studied
- Their every move matters now
- THIS is what experts think
In the glitzy world of Hollywood, not all that glitters is gold, and it seems Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are living proof. The duo, who tied the knot in a hush-hush Las Vegas ceremony nearly two years ago, were spotted in Los Angeles putting on brave faces amidst swirling split rumors. But is their love story facing a final curtain call?
The experts weigh in
As they stepped out for Affleck's son's basketball game, something seemed amiss. The usually PDA-packed couple settled for a mere air kiss - a gesture body language expert Blanca Cobb deems more friendly than romantic. Could this be a sign of underlying issues?
"It's a kiss on the cheek, like when you see a friend. Even his stance, the way his body is angled, is more platonic than romantic," Cobb exclusively told Fox News Digital. "And his feet are in a runner's pose, as if he's there for a few seconds before he moves on."
Cobb added, "If the couple is having relationship difficulties, then it makes sense. When you love someone, and you're going through a hard time, you might show reserved affection."
"Jen's body language, more reserved and protective, hints at her emotional state," Cobb noted of the "On the Floor" singer. "She looks guarded, holding her purse close to her midsection, as if to shield herself psychologically."
Adding to the drama, Lopez recently announced the cancellation of her much-anticipated summer tour, "This Is Me… Live," leaving her "completely heartsick." The decision, prompted by the need to spend time with family, has fans speculating about the state of her marriage with Affleck.
She added, "Ben, in contrast, appears more at ease, holding a basketball in his right hand. It's intriguing to note that both are holding something that prevents them from physically connecting, a poignant detail."
Despite the setback, Lopez found solace among friends at a dance studio, a testament to her resilience and the support system rallying around her. Yet, even in comfort, Lopez's body language suggested a mix of relief and underlying strain.
Lopez informed her fans via newsletter on May 31 that the "This Is Me… Live" tour was canceled.
"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down," Lopez wrote in her newsletter. "Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time..."
Lopez and Affleck's romance has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. Their documentary, 'The Greatest Love Story Never Told,' sheds light on their initial engagement, the overwhelming media scrutiny, and their eventual heartbreaking split.
Affleck's admission of their struggle with the press highlights the intense pressure that has shadowed their relationship from the start.
