Handsome Jesse Williams has been active in Hollywood for 15 years and shot in popularity thanks to his role of "Dr. Jackson Avery" on Grey's Anatomy.
The Chicago native studied acting and was chosen to be a part of the New York Actors Showcase. He then starred in films like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, The Cabin in the Woods, and The Butler.
In 2019 he first joined ABC in Grey's Anatomy as "Dr. Jaskson Avery" as a side character in season 6. He was so popular with audiences that he became a main cast member the following season! He became a shining star and was nominated for a People's Choice Awards for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor.
Jesse also starred in the spin-off Station 19 as his own character and ultimately announced he would be leaving the series entirely in May 2021. He has recently starred in the hit miniseries Little Fires Everywhere as "Joe Ryan" and in the horror film Random Acts of Violence.
Jesse married real estate broker Aryn Jake-Lee in 2012 but the pair divorced in 2020 after 3 years of separation. While they have joint custody of their two children, Sadie and Maceo, the two have had a messy public split. The pair were even ordered to take "High Conflict" co-parenting courses by the court.
Jesse was then linked with news anchor Taylor Rooks, Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly, and most recently Hit the Floor actress Taylour Paige.
