More than two decades ago Jennifer Aniston became one of the fan-favorite actresses due to her role as "Rachel" in the iconic sitcom Friends. The show ended more than 10 years ago and since then Aniston has starred in several films, but she has been actually missed on television shows. Good news is that now she finally decided to return to the small screen taking on an entirely different role.
Jennifer Aniston waited 15 years to return to TV but she missed being on a show
The 50-year-old actress will star in and executive produce Apple TV+'s original series The Morning Show, which revolves around a news program that is faced with sexual misconduct allegations against one of its hosts, and which is set to premiere in November 2019. Jennifer Aniston will share credits with her co-star and friend Reese Witherspoon, as well as with The Office star Steve Carrell.
"This role never could’ve come to me any sooner than now,” Aniston told "EW", before adding that “it’s one of the hardest jobs I’ve had. I knew I was up to the task, but then there was the excavation of all the emotions in order to create this world for this woman. All of her lifelines are falling away. I would walk out of some of those scenes feeling like a manhole cover just came off my back.”
